United Tae Kwon Do was established in August of 1998 by Master Barry Partridge. Master Partridge has over 30 years experience and is a 7th degree black belt. He is a 3 time US National Champion, a national referee, and a national and international coach. He was also voted the US Coach of the Year in 1998 and in 2002.

The environment at UTA is comfortable and professional. Our spacious and modern facilities are conveniently located and classes are offered for all ages seven days a week. UTA lets you set your own pace. You will begin training with others who are at your own level. Each class you will learn self defense moves while increasing your strength, flexibility, and speed. UTA offers the highest quality of instruction in a positive healthy family atmosphere.

OUR FACILITIES

We currently offer two training facilities in the Triad to serve you. 1 on Robinhood Road in Winston-Salem and 1 on West Mountain Street in Kernersville.

We offer a private lesson rooms for individual one on one training as well as an observation areas for family, friends, and other guests to quietly watch a UTA class. We provide both mens and womens locker rooms and a large, well lit parking areas.

OUR STAFF

Our instructors are all black belts, highly trained, exceptionally skilled, and totally committed to your development and safety. They posses the caring and patience to motivate the youngest students as well as the ability to inspire adults to do their best. They make learning safe fun and exciting.

Master Douglas has over 20 years of experience and is a 6th degree black Belt. He is a North Carolina champion and the coach of the UTA Elite Sparring Team.
