Courtney Carter is an ambitious 10 year old Yellow belt at UTA Kernersville. She has had an interest in Martial arts for a few years and finally got the opportunity to try Taekwondo. She has only been studying her Taekwondo for a short while but, as in everything she does, seeks to be the best student she can be. Outside of the Dojang strives to achieve the A and B honor roll at her school. Courtney likes Country and Disco music, her favorite though is Olivia Newton John’s “You’re the one that I want” from the “Grease” motion picture soundtrack. She likes musicals, her favorite being Julie Andrews in “The Sound of Music”. She loves Chicken Scampi, Cheer-wine and especially eating out of the Olive Garden. Besides Taekwondo, Courtney also likes tennis, soccer, piano, choir and running and has a dream of visiting

one day. We’re sure she will do that since she lives every day living by her motto “Showing quality in all you do”.
